5 07 pm pdt   [ belly laugh ]

I have never had such a hearty belly laugh in front of my computer in my life. I just tossed my head back and let my laughter fill the heavens. This morning I posted a comment on slashdot regarding medical nanobots. [I saw the first response earlier in the day, and while I like my breasts I don't really appreciate being called a bitch for no reason (and in hax0r speech, no less...), but it was the second comment that had me roaring just a minute ago.] Here are the responses:

I think the important question is do you have any control over what is done with the information these bots gather about you. Can you prevent it from being given to the government or an insurance company? What prevents a bot from giving you a drug test or some other unauthorized search of your interior?

[ all suited up ]

She went to the market, leaving her car in the parking lot to get all scaldingly hot again. The tree she parked under offered little protection.

[ skimpy tree ]

I have no idea why, but after I had procured my groceries, I suddenly felt like driving. I took the long back way home, revisiting some neighborhoods I haven't seen in over a decade. My belly stirred with emotions, none of which I can name. It was pleasant nonetheless, despite the heat...

two years ago today: "I hate feeling like I have to be the bad guy, but we never have sex in under and hour and I had to go to work. I know that I am often perhaps too practical -- especially for my age -- but that is the way that I operate. Logic always prevails."

one year ago today: "I am learning 16mm editing right now, which is great, because I haven't done a lot of actual film work, but which is also lousy, because it requires a lot of time outside of class -- which I just don't have."
