How could I resist?

It's just a stone's throw from my house, and on a whim, I decided to take myself dancing. I put on one of my favorite dresses, a little velvet green thing, and drove myself over. I actually got nervous once I arrived, having no idea what this place was like. But I talked myself into it. No cover fee meant I could walk in, decided I didn't like it, and leave. As I approached, disco music filled the night. I knew it was going to be all right.

I had an absolute blast, dancing with one guy after another, and laughing off all of their compliments. I have never had any sort of regular social activity, but I could definitely do a regular Thursday night thing there. Want to join me there next week? E- me, and let me know you're coming...

As I walked back to my car, a guy stopped me. "I don't normally do this, but..." is always a bad sign. He told me I was beautiful and he complimented me on my shoes. It was very sweet and genuine. He told me it is his birthday next week, so I'll have to save one dance for him.

PS: I redesigned the front page of my site today. You like? You like?

two years ago today: "The concept of artist must be expanded to include plurality, and the idea of art must be shifted from the rigid form to work which can be continually updated / shaped / molded and which can change dynamically according to the user(s)."

one year ago today: "I was just reading a fantastic article about some engineers who put themselves for sale on ebay..."
