_________________ 10 52 pm pdt [ sag logo ] My mother has the most frightening ability to tell me I look good on the days when I think I look the worst. Today it is my racoon-style sun burn that my mother is claiming makes me look healthy, but really makes me look like I dipped my face in scalding water. She is a strange one. She lacks the ability to watch tv or read the newspaper without sharing moral lessons. Tonight she was cackling at Terms of Endearment. "You can't keep secrets from your mother!" she advises. "'Don't worship me until I've earned it,'" she repeats. "I've got to remember that line." I thought I'd throw up an image I altered while still in New York. I glanced at Saint Ignatius School and thought it said Sagittarius School. I snapped a picture and changed it. The space between the two words was too wide, so I tweaked in a Sag logo. I am very pleased with how it turned out. My new job (should I take it) would be learning software to make these kinds of changes on moving footage as opposed to a still.
two years ago today: "I am finishing my movie today -- at least the nine minute version." one year ago today: I didn't write because I was busy preparing for my college graduation, which was six days later. |
