Rachel's Daily Diary 10 33 pm pdt [ amusing the muse ] Lord, I am stuffed on Chevys. I had big plans for today. I was going to make a video of me doing tongue twisters. I looked at two of my previous videos (Ladles and Jellyspoons and LightPlay), and after watching LightPlay, I got inspired to make music, so I played around with that instead. I ended up falling asleep on the couch and after a decent nap I am still exhausted tonight, and ready to go to bed. I often look back on my work and am disappointed, but I really like LightPlay. It still amuses me immensely. Unfortunately, the muse did not seem to be with me today as I poked at my music programs. I did manage to crash my machine several times. I also got requests for pictures of my feet and a picture of me in my salt dress. I am happy to do both, but will probably have to wait until I return to LA at the end of the month. Of course, I always want to take more pictures of my feet, so the request tickles my fancy. I will hopefully manage to do tongue twishters soon. They have always amused me so much. * * * two years ago today: "We get so much of the cutting edge material here; I am just disappointed by a few professors who clearly have no interest in their students." one year ago today: "Two days ago I was filling out an application form online. When it asked for my education level, I was able, for the first itme, to list myself as a college graduate. When I got to the employment section, I realized I was no longer able to mark myself as a student, so I wrote self-employed." |
