11 39 am pdt [ household drama ]
You can't even imagine the drama in this household
right now. Tears are flowing. You see, Rebecca has to go
shopping. She has to buy new clothes, and my dad was supposed to
take her, but he has to work. She he wants her to get dropped off
at his office at five and then they will go shopping in Cetury City or at
the Beverly Center before dinner, but she insists that two and a half
hours is not enough (!) and she wants to go in Santa Monica. I offered to
take her to the Promenade, but he won't give her any money, even though I
suggested that now woulld be a great time to teach her about budgeting.
My brother
and I always hated to shop, so my dad has never really been through this.
12 30 pm pdt [ even more drama ]
Even more drama: "I want new CDs. I have [sob] the
least CDs of all my friends."
How did she wind up like this? How did my brother and
I wind up as polar opposites? How do I get my children on my end of the
spectrum instead of hers? She fascinates me.
