11 10 pm pdt   [ getting nervous ]

My tomatoes bear a sticker which read Del Cabo tomatoes containing lycopene may reduce cancer risks. Well, writing a daily diary on the web may reduce cancer risks too, but I'm not betting on it. A quick consultation of lycopene.com reveals:

Lycopene, a carotenoid in the same family as beta carotene, is what gives tomatoes, and several other fruits, their deep red color. But lycopene is not just a colorant. It is a powerful antioxidant that has shown remarkable fighting power against degenerative diseases.
Learn something new every day...

I told myself that I wouldn't continue to date Matthew exclusively if it became apparent that our realtionship was going to be long distance for another year, but now that the time has come, I am unsure about making that kind of change.

I planned on taking pictures today, but I ended up working all day. I called my boss and asked if there was anyone else in Santa Monica who would be starting work with me and he pointed me to Sylvia. I now have a ride for Monday morning, which will give me a chance to get to know her on the way to work. In addition, I am now beginning to get extremely nervous.

A small list of things I would like to do in the near future to better myself:

  • take dance classes on a regular basis
  • take yoga on a regular basis
  • lift weights on a regular basis
  • do ceramics on a regular basis
  • take singing lessons
  • take piano lessons
  • take French lessons
  • get cpr certified

Do you have anything you want to say to me?

name and/or e-mail:

speak your mind:

two years ago today: "I could watch movies and eat and do nothing else for many months. I guess that is what summer is for."

one year ago today: "I still have to work on my ridiculous thesis, as well as doing real work, but I just want to waste my time away at the Family History Center."
