11 55 pm pdt [ dreamy ]
Last night was dreamy. I picked up Doyle (one of my
co-workers, and my newest best friend) with impeccable timing, and we set
off for The Garden of Eden. After
announcing, during the drive, that I was not especially skilled at
parallel parking, I managed to find the most miniscule parking space
imaginable, which took me five minutes to squeeze into. The wait was, of
course, too long, but better that I had worried it would be; Doyle said he
had seen on the news the Clinton was just in town and he finished off his
visit by a trip to The Garden of Eden.
Once inside, and once Doyle had a bit of vodka in him
for bravery, we danced non-stop till they closed, taking a single breather
to share one of their delicious margeuritas. If my taste buds report
correctly, the drink had tangerine juice in it.
Though going out is expensive, I'd like to encourage
myself to do it more often, since I enjoy it so much.
