My sister was supposed to arrive tonight, but she has been delayed until tomorrow. My brother will also be home in a few weeks. I think my dad is feeling some pressure [mostly from my sister] to take us all on a family vacation.

I think most parents think about vacations backwards. Get a really nice hotel room and then be happy spending a lot of time there. That is Matthew's and my view of an ideal vacation. Go exploring, but don't try to pack too much into everyday. It should be relaxing, not stressful.

Matthew is going to Amsterdam and Sweden for work, and I am quite jealous. I'd love to have a job that sent me travelling all over.

I am so glad it is Friday. I am quite exhausted, and I need to catch up on some sleep before my 14-year-old sister starts wearing me down. We always have so much fun together. I am considering taking her to work with me for a day. We shall see...
