10 31 pm pdt [ my sister's friends ] No matter what my sister thinks of me most of the time, she thinks I am just plain cool when I am around her friends. I'm funny, I can drive, and I'm a pretty decent storyteller (if I do say so myself). Tonight I took Rebecca and two of her 14-year-old friends from summer camp to a Groaning Mona show at Scruffy O'Sheas (in Marina Del Rey). The show was a blast, and I got the girls dancing. Fish Out of Water, the cover band that followed with a slew of excellent classic rock performances, was also wonderful. I am elated now. I'm going to call Matthew and share my high with him...
