Hi baby doll,
I hope you are having a wonderful day. If you are too tired to write to me or about your day, I certainly understand. I've now had my first-hand look at how exhausting trade shows can be.

The guy who comes to clean our fist tank is named Michael, and he taught me all sorts of stuff about the tank contents today. He also told me about his pets (a nine foot python is one of his dozen snakes) and about his tatoos. Everytime he comes to the office I learn something new about aquatic creatures.

I finished all four Adam Sandler CDs, and now I'm on Andrew Dice Clay, whom I don't like because he's very mean-spirited and has a lot of racial humor. Tim is still urging me to jump straight to Dennis Leary.

I had yummy vegan lasagnes for lunch today. I'm going to have Karina over for hiking this weekend. On Saturday night I'm having dinner with two of my ancient cousins who are interested in the family tree. It will surely be an adventure. They live near where I had my car accident, which I am not pleased about driving by.

Hon, our anniversary and your birthday are coming up. They're in the middle of the week, so I think that gives us an excuse to celebrate the weekend before and after. Maybe I should come up for one weekend and you should come down for one. Whatcha think?

I miss you bunches and bunches...

          Lots of love,
                    Rachel

i'm sorry i have not been writting as much or as frequently...this project is really taxing...as with the last few weeks...it almost works now....

now i see how software never gets done...

i tried to eat lunch with doyle today but service was amazingly rude and we just left before the served us...

if i can just hang on tonight and get this thing to work then tomorrow's demos wont be too bad and i'll be pretty happy (if a bit tired) tomorrow evening...

lots of love
please tell me more about you...i miss you oodles

ps aniversary / bday trips sound great...let figure this out...

Hi Peachkins,

I'm sure you will get all your coding to go perfectly. I know it stresses you out, but I think your demos tomorrow will be flawless. Have you discovered any yummy restaurants? Have you been out smoking with Jason yet? Have you done anything fun? I want you to have fun for at least a half hour tomorrow.

I've adored your guest entries, but it feels so weird to not talk to you every day. I'd love to hear the minutia of what your life is like there. Things are slow here... as always.

I wish I had more to tell you. I need a new car (it has 163,310 miles on it) and more immediately it needs new tires. Perhaps you can come down to LA and help me buy some at Costco. I checked today, and my drive to work is exactly 16 miles. Can you believe that takes me 45 minutes? I'm going to garden this evening, because I think it will make me happy...

          Love,
Rachel (who is now listening to Bill Cosby)
