hey tot...sorry that you had a stinky day at work the other day...

i think you are starting to get the right idea...what i mean is that no one at work is ultimately looking out for you...and i dont mean your work in particular... i think this is the way of the world...so do what is good for you...

i think more and more that we (you and i) should be the sf arm of doyle's little post facility... perhaps we could get some cool freelance work and still have "good" jobs...

speaking of jobs... mine is going ok... i think jason is under a bit of pressure which sort of trickles down to me... although yesterday when i told him that i was really enjoying the flame demo he said that we could set up one of our octanes as a flint....

i would love to learn to be a flame driver... although i have no good reason... i told doyle and [your boss] that i was planning on writting the flame for dummies book today... then i watched some more of the demo and decided that i would have to write the flame is NOT for dummies book ;)

everybody likes the way we "plan" our vacations... they think its perfectly wonderful that we don't know when we are going or where we are going... the only things i worry about are offending rudy... or just plain not having a place to stay.... don't worry about dates. i'm sure we will figure it out... i think that weekends here in amsterdam are a tad like weekends in vegas and that we should spend the end of our trip here... i think a day and a half would be enough to get a flavor... maybe 2.5 if we are gonna really hit all of the museums... i have been saving them for you...

yesterday i bought 2 shirts and 2 ties (they are awesome and just a little european) and they cost me as much as a night in the hotel here (yikes) and i wasn't sure how much cash i had in the bank at that point... at any rate it was ok but then i wanted to check my balance online and when i tried i found out that in the last few days they changed the online banking at my bank to require 128bit browsers (which i thought i had but don't) so i dont have a clue about anything...

i am working on not worrying... i'm off to some trade show party tonight (matthew whirls index finger in air in a circular manner...)

my program is doing its thing and i think getting me some positive attention in the company....i have been doing a little bit of feature enhancement in between demos ;)

i love and miss you
matthew
