Election Day

10 57 pm pst   [ citizenship ]

I love my "I Voted" sticker. I wore it all day long. I felt a comeradery with other citizens I saw wearing their stickers. I wonder how much money it costs to print all those stickers.

 I voted

As I'm typing, we still don't know who has won. It's quite a bit fun that the race is so close.

Matthew and I sat on the phone durring his commute. We discussed local elections and the electoral college system.

I was explaining why I think we ought to get rid of it. Matthew has suddenly become very interested in politics, a condition which I think is largely due to his roommate being such. I tend to only be interested in politics when it suits me.

 I voted

I'm glad my one little vote has been counted. Today I am enjoying being part of the system.
