_________________ 11 41 pm pst [ pushing it ] I knew it was pushing it, but I went out to dinner with Alexandra between arriving home from work and leaving for the airport. It worked out perfectly. Our meal at Chin Chin was delic, and I hopped in the car with plenty of time to spare. I had no trouble finding the long term lot and getting myself on a shuttle headed for Berkeley. As I waited in line to get my boarding pass, I was hopeful that this would be my first non-delayed flight on SouthWest in ages. I noticed a young girl flying alone, and since I was practically the first person on the plane, I sat next to her. She was a bautiful thirteen-year-old named Georgia. She told me all about the book she was reading, the boy she liked at school, her parents and siblings, her fingernails and why she started biting them... I just adore children and it was such a pleasure that she was happy to chat away with me. Though we each had books in our laps, we ended up talking the whole time. Georgia's mother is a theatre actress, so I got the teen's perspective on the biz in LA, where she lives. Towards the end of the flight I got into a long conversation with the guy sitting on the other side of me. He had a beautiful name and seemed most embarassed when he found out I was not in high school as he had asked, even though I assured him that happens to me all the time. Matthew was waiting with hugs when I deplaned, and whe we arrived back at his house, his roommate Tom was wrapped in a pink blanket on the couch. Matthew had finally gotten his camera repaired from when he broke it before we had a chance to use it on our trip to Europe.
