10 11 pm pst   [ delights ]

My brother and I were sitting on my bed late after Thanksgiving. We we sharing all manner of conversation. He was talking about his gay roommate. "He's addicted," my brother said, "to Am I hot..." "Or not*..." I finished his sentance. I excitedly chimed in, "One of Matthew's e-mailed me that he also had a shameful addiction."

"I rate everyone lower than average," I said with a laugh.

"I'm really good at getting it right on," my brother claimed with a hint of pride.

The web has been sull of some rare delights lately. The above mentioned site lets you rate various people based on their looks. I wonder what percentage of the pictures are put up with out the knowledge of the person in the picture. This woman* looks like a perfect 10 to me...

In conclusion, the absolute best response to this election nonsense which I saw came from amazon.com...

3 years ago today: I read somewhere a theory that pain is the only thing that language does not allow us to share. We can describe it (like someone stabbing me in the back of my eye) but the other person can never really know that pain; they can only imagine it.

2 years ago today: LA is in the middle of a fair sized rainstorm, and I can hear all of the plants singing their thanks.

1 year ago today: I haven't really lived anywhere in months; I've just been visiting.
