_________________ Friday 23 February 2001 6 52 pm pst [ varied fates ] Matthew and I are on completely different schedules, which seems to suit me, since I can sleep for a substantial portion of the time he is at work. I spend all day waiting for him to come home, regardless of what else I do. On Wednesday I made a new desktop image:
I really like that image, and even made a version which I submitted to and was displayed on an art site that has already disappeared from the web... Ah. the fast pace of technology. Good thing I saved copy of the piece:
It is strange to me that web content has such varied fates. Some pages have been left untouched since 1994, full of whatever content has long since become irrelevant while other pages disappear within hours of being updated. "Life is absurd."
