11 09 pm pst [ experiencing a flash of red ]
I've been having so much fun with my activity box that I'm now just nine cards short
of one hundred.
It just so happened that I was filling out a job
application where I had to find a dozen links to interesting stuff in the
East Bay, so I was able to copy some websites onto cards and drop them in
the box.
But for most of the day I've been experiencing a flash
of red:
Since you replied to a

through all 8000+ posts. The first post in the forum was on 7/28/97. My
first post to the site was on 12/05/98.
Every time I go to make a new post, my name and e-mail
address are filled in, and the site instructs in red,

This kind of obsessive behaviour should be a clear
indication that I am once again doing genealogical research. But this
time I'm not doing mine. I figured I would take advantage of these few
pre-job days while I'm sitting on a cable modem and give back. I
performing my own version of Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness. I've been helped
by some generous people along the way, and now I feel that I've learned
enough to give back.
I've had to install a program to allow my to assign hot
keys to shortcuts (to type out a commonly used string of text with a
single keystroke) but my wrists still hurt. I somehow can't seem to make
myself stop once I'm on a roll.
