There were 15 competitors, some of them quite fierce
and all of them exceedingly creative. Some strategized to win in a
certain competition, while others made transformer cars with adjustable
wheels of flippable bodies.
The competitors were:
with a truly inventive pyramid car complete with
historic lore...
with beauty contest winning car, which Matthew named
"the disco shrubbery mobile"...
with an orange-visored car well built for speed [and
whom Matthew said looked too wholesome to have gone to UC Berkeley]...
with her wonderful travelling garden, which managed to
keep all of its flowers onboard throughout the races...
with a fantastic red and black car that morphed shape
for different competitions...
with a car that creatively used satellite dishes as
wheels!...
[of unpossible.com] with the car that won overall, even though he had to
leave early for a Prince concert...
with a shiny happy car covered in heads -- the only car
with corporate sponsorship...
with a car which he repeatedly demonstrated could hold
all of his weight, and which was favored to win the demolition contest
with its built-in battering ram...
with a prisoner baby driver, clamp holding a severed
head, every possible lego post covered, and a removable staircase...
