6 53 pm Austria time zone [ happy in Salzburg ]

^ Waking up in Salzburg makes both of us happy. We set
off to walk around the city. Some Italian tourists asked us to take their
picture in front of a fountain, so after Matthew had done so I asked them
if they would do the same in return.

^ We headed to the post office to mail post cards.
When we bought stamps, the vendor asked us, "May I ask you? You say 'Have
a wonderful day.' How do I respond?" Matthew answered, "You, too." We
both found the enchange so endearing...

^ We went to our favorite Italian restaurant in
Salzburg, after much wandering, and had a lengthy filling meal. We
narrowly avoided a tremendous downpour and managed to walk back to our
hotel in glorious sun. We walked through a beautiful garden Matthew
discovered last time we were in the city. He figured out how to use the
timer on the camera and we squatted to be at the level of the bench where
we placed it.

^ After that, we took a series of timer-controlled
photos as we strolled.

^ I am waiting for Matthew to set up the timer and get
in the shot.

^ We pose together, happy.

^ We take the photo again because Matthew wants a
larger format size...

^ Back in the room, Matthew takes one more picture,
scrunching onto my side of the bed after running in from the other room.
