1 35 pm pdt [ experimenting ]
Amongst our hundreds of hours of conversation we
engaged in while in Europe, one of the most intense conversations covered
Matthew's continuing level of exhaustion. He said he wants to try
spending more alone time with me when he returns from work, instead of
unwinding in the living room in front of the tv, so I am going to not
touch my computer when he is home. I am still undecided as to whether I
should use mine while he is using his, but the general idea is to get my
computing done when he isn't around. We shall see how this experiment of
sorts plays itself out, and I am going to try not to remind him about his
suggestion, and just see how the evenings will go.
Jet lag is still haunting us. He woke up at 4 am and
elected to go to work early. Now we just have to see if he actually comes
home early. The sun is intense and this house is like a fishbowl with its
wall of windows heating the living room to some unbearable temperature.
I have an unknown package from Amazon waiting for me in
LA and I am so excited to tear into it...
