I had a perfect day. We slept late; he worked from home. I fixed a huge salad with lettuce, yellow and red bell peppers, organic heirloom tomatoes, sliced carrots, and a few leaves from my basil leaves. Our home made French onion soup is still steaming on the stove and we watched Meet Joe Black which I found very entertaining.

two years ago today: Last night was the big party at my mother's house, which was a total success.

one year ago today: I'm getting into the Nawlins flavor of life.
