12 September 2001I hope taking a walk will alolow me to disengage in current events for a few minutes.
I am mesmerized by the huge pitcher plant on display in a local flower shop. Each time I walk by it I have to stop to admire its beauty and ingenius design. I have always recognized the irony of being a vegetarian who is fascinated by carniverous plants.
The cops were out in full force along the busy street, a painful reminder of yesterday's events and the world's collective fears.
