After making an apple pie on New Year's 1997-1998, in which I kneaded the dough too long and made the pie crust rather chewy, I am not allowed to make crust. This is fine, since my favorite apple pie recipe has a crumble top. Matthew found a crust recipe he wanted to follow, and I set about to make the filling.
