[ surprise II ]

Last night I had a second surprise party for Matthew. It wasn't really a surprise though. The power went out at the restaurant so they called to say they may not be serving for the evening. Matthew picked up the phone and they said they were calling about the reservation for 10 at 8 o'clock. Surprise! So I told Matthew he was getting a surprise party but he wouldn't know who was coming.

One of Matthew's co-workers brought his wife and she was fantastic. I was so delighted to have met her. The other treat was seeing my friend Tricia after so long. She brought two of her friends and the four of us spent all of dinner chatting and making up stories. I had a blast, and so did Matthew. Yay!
