4 35 pm pdt [ Begonia ]

A kind brilliant reader identified my mystery plant as a Begonia. I suppose that for someone familiar with the plants, the off-center heart-shaped leaves are easy to recognize. Now I'm trying to identify the variety, with little luck. I had a job interview today, so I got to take the bus which was a whole little adventure for me.

It went well. The job is part time, in the afternoons, so I might need to find a second part time job.

I had semi-planned to fo to the Oakland Family History Center afterwards, but I didn't feel like it, so I just came straight home. I'll have to check it out some other time...

In other exciting news, Matthew and I got our first gas & electric bill today. Yes, we moved in in July. The billing period was for 98 days! We got some $17 rebate which brought the bill down to $77, which isn't so bad for three months, except that we were gone one of the months. Oh well.
