11 53 pm pst   [ jolt ]

I dreamt that I wanted to see a movie. I tried to get my dad to see it with me, but he wouldn't. I finally convinced two of my female friends.

I was watching the movie, which was about a woman who stumbles onto some sort of conspiracy. As she tries to unravel the plot she gets more and more drawn into the danger and intrigue. At the climactic moment, she sneaks up to spy on in a window of a house. Inside, a man and woman violently kill a different woman by electricuting her. Half the audience screamed and many of the movie goers got up to storm out and demand their money back. Moments later, my companions got up and left. But I wouldn't budge. I was drinking some delicious beverage and I wanted to see how the movie ended.

[The shock of the violent death actually woke me up with a jolt, but I laid there and continued dreaming as I fell back asleep.]

Later the plot of the film became real and I was entangled in it. I freed the opressed, rescuing many people and a dog, but not before a little girl's mother was killed.

the dream had many more facets, but they have all slipped away...

Rachel's Daily Diary

I think my favorite part of dating is when you finally spend an obscene amount of time with someone, but neither of you get sick of each other and you don't run out of things to talk about.

I had a wonderful celebratory weekend, and am happy to be of legal age for alcoholic libation consumption.

had a perfect evening last night. In San Francisco, I enjoyed dinner with Matthew and Aurora and there aren't two people I would rather have spent my birthday with (and they surprised me with an apple pie!).

Oh, no, no, no. Anticipation is divine.
