2 18 pst   [ beep beep ]

This morning, the idot construction guys were unhappy that someone had not moved their car in accordance with their signs which were posted after the fact, so at 8:40 am on a Saturday, one of them held down the horn on his truck for a full minute. Matthew was sleeping and I immediately bounded off the couch. I asked for the parking permit number and was rufused while being call "sweetheart" by one idot and yelled at by another. I smile and said that was just fine and that I was going to to go call the police, after mentioning how not difficult it is to have common courtesy for the residents of our neighborhood so early in the morning. Another woman was hanging out her apartment buiolding yelling at them. So I went inside, under the auspices of calling the police, and they didn't beep again and I enjoyed a lovely morning. Ah, the family tree...
