10 53 am pst   [ trees ]

I've done this once before, nearly two years ago to the day. I think that's bit creepy. I didn't plan it that way. Maybe my spring fever involves a rekindled interest in genealogy.

tree

^This is my father's father's father's branch. It consists of five siblings. Until a few months ago, I only knew about three of them. Only one of them is still a mystery. I'm not sure I'm going to be able to track it down, but I'll keep trying.

tree

^This is my father's father's mother's branch. Some of these relatives live in Israel and France, and I am hoping to visit them all.

^This is my father's mother's father's branch. My grandmother's sister's family will have little to do with us ever since my grandmother's sister lost the lawsuit she brought agains my grandmother's estate. But I did find one child who was excited about the tree and filled me in on some of the missing information.

^This is my father's mother's mother's branch. This is one of the smallest trees. I have sent away for death certificates for both my great great grandparents' death certificates and I am hoping they will reveal another generation of names.

^This is my mother's father's father's branch. Only one person is left in my gradfather's generation. I am hopeful that I may someday be able to connect this branch to relatives in Europe.

I don't know anything about my mother's father's mother's family. I have about a dozen different spellings of her last name.

<This is my mother's mother's father's father's father's branch (my great great great grandfather's branch). I have his wife's name but I don't know either of their parents of if they had siblings (which they surely did, since they were Catholic). This tree is clearly gigantic. And there is always more to track down...

^This is my mother's mother's father's mother's branch. I don't know who her parents were, but I have a list of her siblings. I also have four different spellings of her last name.

My mother's mother's mother was adopted. I have been able to find her adoptive parents' names, but I don't know anything about them and I haven't found her birthparents, yet.
