9 08 pm est [ leaving New York ]
All too briefly, I am leaving New York.

I was surprised to find myself back at the airport.

I dragged my heavy duffel bag out to the curb. It was
not so much the fifty pounds, but the bulk that made it unweildy. When we
finally spotted my uncle, I told my aunt I would get everything into the
car. I took my carry-ons to the car, continually checking over my
shoulder. I placed them on the seat and turned around. My duffel bag was
gone. I rushed to where it had been, then looked towards the car and saw
a muscular young man hefting my bag into the trunk. He looked like a
college football player, and was to my eyes very cute. "You're good deed
for the day... thank you so much!" I said. He disappeared into the crowd
again.
