11 18 pm pst   [ no clever title ]

Matthew, my lovely boyfriend, in in the city with some of his male friends. He has left me at home with the evil PS2 which is forcing me to play copius hours of SSX Tricky.

In an effort to improve my game, I have just consumed a small quantity of saké and am now overwhelmed with a compulsion to write.

Matthew has just called to say that he is going to crash in the city, which means I will have a rare night alone.

Now is the part when I am supposed to admit that I stayed up until 4 30 am this morning playing SSX and am in danger of doing the same tonight.

If someone had told me when I was younger that I would one day be sitting on the couch in the apartment I paid for by working, in which I lived with a beautiful man I love, sipping alcoholic libations and staying up late playing video games, I would have thought being an adult was the best thing in the world.

[These are the miscreants at work. I considered not giving them the attention they seem to crave, but since I didn't take any other pictures today... They wrote me and my co-worker paltry appologies.]

[These are two other of the middles schoolers, who wanted in on the digital camera action.]

The play I was working on has finally come to a close and I couldn't even muster up the energy to attend the cast party.

I put in a four hour shift on the editor both yesterday and today, and managed to finish off my latest flick, Six 17-second Haikus aka Dancing Plants, of which I am very proud.

All of my early baby movies are on Super-8, and I can't wait to see them.

We were greatly amused by the elderly woman running the place and he got some good materials.
