10 53 pm pdt   [ blind dates ]

Did I mention that Matthew went to a strip club the other night? I could tell that he let me know just to enjoy my response, which was, "Right on!"

In keeping with anyone of my fanatical and obsessive interests, I exercised again today. The program I have committed myself to is stretching for 10 minutes twice a week, strength training for 20 minutes twice a week, and cardio for 30 minutes three times a week. So far I've done the stretching and weights every day. But the cardio really is difficulty for me. I can't stand running. Jumping rope is painful. I can't think of anything pleasant to raise my heartrate (bedroom activites aside) except a brisk walk. So I took one this evening, to the Oakland library and back. I even got proof:

And now I must confess my dirty secret (of which Matthew is quite aware). I placed a listing on craigslist. Here it is in all its glory:

I would love to go dancing with you

Hi! I am itching to go dancing asap.

I have a boyfriend, so I am NOT looking
for someone to go home with afterwards.

I don't care if you're male or female,
as long as you prefer to spend more time
on the dance floor than off.

I prefer music with lyrics (rap, hip hop,
disco, 80's, 90's, etc.) to music without
(house, trace, jungle, trip hop, etc.).
But I'm pretty much down with anything.

I live in Oakland off of Piedmont Ave.
I'm happy to go into the city, but would
prefer to get a ride or to go somewhere
BARTable because I just learned to drive
a stick and I'm still petrified of SF...

What else do you want to know? I'm 24,
petite, white, in a happy relationship,
and I love to dress up to go out dancing.

I'm happy to go out any night (tonight
through this weekend). Rescue me!

I'm sure I sound like an airhead, but I'm all about getting what I want.

So tomorrow night, I will heading out with the first of the people who took me up on my silly offer. If the internet had been as it is now when I was younger, I would have gotten myself into even more trouble than I did.

My grampa is headed home from the hospital and is making a fine recovery. We are all so relieved.

I really can't believe it's Wednesday. It feels like an eternity since the weekend. It also feels like it will be forever until Matthew is home, while in reality he will be back on Friday. The day should be especially interesting because we will be taking the kids to the zoo! I am sure an adventure will ensue.

I was able to get my homework done this morning, enjoy two bowls of cereal with my man, and make it to work only five minutes late.

On a completely different note, last night I went to a gay bar.
