11 40 pm pdt [ bands, TB, and cars ]
Last night was much fun. Matthew and I met up with Phil, Elizabeth, Elizabeth's beau
Salvador, and a bunch of Elizabeth's friends. The following three photos
were taken by Salvador.
We first saw Aimee Porter perform.

Her band was followed by Rudy.

Elizabeth was wearing a shirt devised to display a
fantastic amount of cleavage (unfortunately, the flash was to bright to
get the effect) so when the camera was pointed our way, my tongue came
out.

And that was that. We got home just a bit after
midnight and I think Matthew convinced Phil to come racing with us on
Sunday.
Today I had to go get a TB test, which my boss failed
to tell us we needed to get when we started working (state law!). I'd had
one before, but the nurse informed me, "That was the tine test, which was
less accurate. This new test is much more accurate but also much more
painful!" No kidding, lady! Anyway, it left what she described as a
"bubble" under the skin.

I got all sweaty from getting a shot, so I made a quick
jaunt home to shower before heading to work. The upshot was that I got to
see "The Glass Quilt." It ocurred to me later that I've seen quite a few
art cars, and all of
them in sunny California.
