9 09 pm pdt   [ strangé ]

Well, today has certainly been one of the strangest days of my life. But I have been asked not to write about the really strange event, so you and I will both have to settle with the slightly more mundane.

I got my TB test results today. I do not have TB. I was thinking, thought, how weird it would be to suddenly find out I had something really wrong with me that I didn't know about.

I decided that since I was near the saké brewery I would stop and treat myself to some saké, so I picked up some Takara Sierra Cold and a large bottle of Nigori [unfiltered] saké.

I was pleased that everything had moved along so quickly and that I would have time to stop at home and stick my libations in the fridge when I found myself in terrible traffic. There was a huge accident, and one of the cars was facing the wrong way on the freeway.

I made my silent prayer for whoever was involved and proceeded to my house and then to work, with very little time to spare.

I have realized today, how entirely dependent I am on writing about things here to sort them out, file them away, record them, reflect on the them, etc. I don't like this restriction at all.

Let me detail my day.

3 years ago:

I didn't write because my brother was in town visiting.

2 years ago:

I don't normally write about sex.

1 year ago:

I must say I had a spectacular trip.
