11 48 am pdt   [ non-functional ]

As of last night, my computer is completely non-functional. However, there is nothing wrong with the hard drive, so I didn't lose any data. I just can't use the beast.

Last night I had a second nightmare. I was going to the Academy Awards. First I had to coordinate meeting various people at various times on the streets of Manhattan. There were so many organizational details and I was very stressed out. Then I got to the large hotel where the ceremony was to take place. I did all sorts of nonsense running around. Finally I got into the elevator, I think to go to the ceremony or perhaps to my room. This smarmy unattractive man lans towards me and says, "Wanna fuck?" I loudly replied, "Stay the fuck away from me!" I was not willing to be harrassed by this idiot. Nearly everyone shoved their way out of the elevator at that point. The I was standing there waiting to arrive at my floor when he grabbed my breast. With fire in my eyes I corner him trying to knee him in the nuts, but he was able to hold me at a reasonable distance. Then he grabbed my neck. I tried clawing at him to get him off of me, but I was unsuccessful. There was a woman cowering in the other corner of the elevator and I kept beggin her to, "Please help me!" but she didn't move. I would halp anyone I saw being harrassed, physically or otherwise. Then the horrible man pinched my windpipe so I couldn't make a noise or breathe. He started berating me, saying things like, "Not yelling so loud now, are you bitch?" Then I woke up.

7 07 pm pdt   [ game night ]

As I started to say yesterday, now I can get down to game night. As I mentioned, the evening began with everyone trying a different one of my puzzles. Then Katya (of Shrine fame) got Kathy Cooking Panic (tm) and we all settled down to make our respective dishes. Katya could not be stopped from chugging the olive oil:

Lila (of geek fame) and Brendan (of Brick Testament fame) whipped up a magnificent pesto sauce. Katya made a side dish of mushrooms sautéed in a yummy garlic sherry sauce, Matthew (of Vfx fame) made a Waldorf salad with a balsamic vinagrette instead of the typical mayonaise dressing (he also wanted to have pecans, so I named it a Pecandorf salad), and I made heavily laden garlic bread (which wasn't very nice for the people on the low carb diet). Matthew and I also served strawberries and chocolate for dessert, which I eat about three nights a week.

When we were all sated, I got out Truth or Dare Jenga and one of my 25 Sharpie's. Truth or Dare Jenga (which is technically called Jenga Truth or Dare, but I think that sounds stupid) has 18 dares, 18 truths, and 18 "write-your-own" blocks. So with everyone gathered, I filled out all of the blank blocks, using people's suggestions intermixed with ideas from my own sick mind. Now, Katya, Brendan, Lila, Mark, and anyone else who would ever play during a game night with us need to not cheat and look at the following link. Here are all of our additions to Truth or Dare Jenga.

I believe we played three rounds in the course of the evening. Here is what transpired...

Katya donned a sweater to give herself the long hair requisite to be my mom. She then did a marvelous immitation. She followed with a brief stint of my dad.

Brendan did a rousing rendition of Like a Virgin complete with Madonna pointy breasts:

They [the breasts] required some adjustment:

Matthew drew the "Remove your pants or remove your underwear without removing your pants" block. He opted for the latter (perhaps inspired by Zoolander):

After some tense moments, his underwear emerged:

Matthew was triumphant!

We had a plan, involving staying up until this evening to reset our internal clocks (now nine hours off) but he is snoring softly beside me.
