Highlights of yesterdays voyage to Kilowatt to celebrate Phil's 25th b-day:

* having beer spilled all over me

* discussing with Mats why he finds Rachel's to be unattractive

* seeing Phil in handcuffs again

* the rampant speculation on what was in the box Phil received labeled "Think Globally, Masturbate Locally"

* Phil, blindfolded and being tickled by a feather, thanking his parents for being nasty and producing him

* rating the attractiveness of the various guys in attendence with Dréa

* fussing about my hair and wearing pigtails

* trying (unsuccessfully, I'm afraid) to cheer Phil up because one of the party-goers had her purse stolen and Phil felt really, really bad

* discussing gimlets with some guy who's name I didn't catch

She's skipping out on our weekly bar night, so I am home early. There is a pervasive silence just now. I won't call is melancholy; in fact, I think I'm going bake some banana bread witht he radio blaring to shoo these ghosts away.
