If only my computer was working right now... Oh well,
I will touch type this entry and spelling errors be damned.
Tonight my supervisor and I revived our weekly bar
night. Our bartender gave us the first round on the house to celebrate
our return and I was deeply amused. I've gotten back in touch with David
(my initiation) and he was finally sweet after all this time.
Oh, where was I [I was momentarily distracted by my Brain Puzle, which lives next to me on
the couch]? Ah yes, David. I would never have expected him to be polite
after all these years. I would have expected him to turn me into some
sort of haggish horror in his memory after all theis time, but he was
really "sweet" for lack of a better word.
Somedays I wake up with fingerprints all over my flesh.
Memories cling, of him and of others. Rarely, but it still happens. Even
the Scottish bartender whom I never touched, but who was one of the more
delicious creatures I ever beheld. He is my maiden in white on the ferry.
[I really wish my monitor was working and I could see
what I was writing. I think then that this enty would be a little less
disjointed.]
I give up. To be posted here soon, photos of the kids
today:
We put two benches together and it was like a magnet
for them.
They immediately began roleplaying.
They were crying babies in a huge crib.
But they couldn't keep from giggling.
The boy in front tried to get out of the picture but
was too slow.
A special pose just for me.
The above is my personal favorite.
