11 59 pm pdt [ last Monday ]
Matthew and I were just sitting on the couch eating
strawberries and chocolate. I eat them nearly ever night and these
strawberries are especially delicious and came from the farmer's market
this weekend. Matthew dropped one of the couch. We have a white couch
and a white blanket lives on it. The white blanket got a large brown
smudge on it and Matthew began whimpering. I asked him if he was
whimpering because he wasn't sure if he could still eat the strawberry.
He nodded. After a careful lint inspection, he sonsumed it. Then he
deftly removed the chocolate stain.
Today was my last Monday at this job and I will miss
the kids very much. I am having no luck at finding a new job and I'm not
sure what I'm going to do if I can't find anything. Also, we need to let
the manager know by the 7th if we are going to move out. Things are
getting crazy!
Here is one of my favorite kids. He cut his lip and I
said, "You can't put a band-aid on it." He claimed he could, so I
suggested two band-aids, right across his mouth. He wore them proudly:

PS: The big tup of margerine in the background was out
for the 20 boxes of Mac & Cheese I had to make. It took and hour and a
half (though a lot of that time was waiting for water to boil).
