7 14 pm pdt [ good-bye, England ]
Back in the states. Right off the plane and it's an LA
moment as I watch Katherine Zeta Jones and her assistant gather dozens of
suitcases while Michael Douglas waited with a small child in his arms. My
mother and I reflected what it must be like to visit LA for the first time
and see movie stars before you've even cleared customs.
I got quite motion sick at the end of the flight and
kept thinking of the expression "tossing my cookies." I have the
potential to work in LA this summer on the new Tom Cruise film (the one in
which he plays a magician). Matthew will hate it, so we'll see what
happens.
I am trying to fight getting sick, but that was a rough
ride.
