6 34 pm pst   [ my baby ]

I miss my diary. I really miss my diary.

I've got nearly a month's worth of photos to upload. I have entries noted on scraps of paper that I'm sure got tossed in the move. I'll try to do all of the back-dated entries and catch up, but that's going to be difficult. Matthew and I are probably going to Germany tomorrow.

I am a bit lost right now. I don't know where anything is, so packing will be crazy. My expenses are all messed up because I used to anally record everything in my computer (like the $17 I spent at Cato's on the 2nd? and the $7 I spent at In-N-Out yesterday [technically today, since it was after midnight]). I don't know where anything is in our new neighborhood and we haven't gotten our phone book and have no access to MapQuest, or anything else on the internet.

But back to Germany. Matthew found out today that he is supposed to go tomorrow. So we are currently sitting in his office, though the company had a mandatory nation-wide shutdown this past week.

So, part of the whole hectic part of this past month is that Matthew got moved to a different "group" at work and is supposed to be moved again, so he's not sure who to report to. He's stopped trying to get his internet access reimbursed. And this trip to Germany is for someone other that his boss [it's for his potential new boss]. Matthew called his current boss to make sure he could go only to learn the guy is on a six-week sabatical. He didn't notify Matthew, or Matthew's former boss who is now under the same guy. The whole situation is ridiculous.

Currently we are unable to book a flight for me.

I'm booked! We're going to Germany tomorrow. Tonight we are going to SFO to get tickets and then going to our old apartment to finish cleaning it out, then going to our new home where we will collapse in bed. This is going to be crazy!

two years ago today: I woke up at 6 30 this morning, so Matthew could make his flight back to Berkeley in time to drive straight to work.
