Matthew is packing. He leaves for Germany again today. I am going to take this opportunity to make an new list.

four years ago today: I didn't write because Matthew and I were backpacking.

three years ago today: I have a [probably absurd] notion that it is good for me to use my left hand, despite being right-handed, so I go through bouts of practicing writing with my left hand and I once tried to eat with chopsticks in my left hand.

two years ago today: I woke up at 6 30 this morning, so Matthew could make his flight back to Berkeley in time to drive straight to work.
