5 00 pm pst [ not early ]
My love said he'd try to come home early today but I
think we both know that he won't. Living closer to work gives him an
excuse to stay longer.
I had a second interview for a teaching position today.
The offered me the job and mailed me the contract today. Benefits, after
three years without them... what can I say besides that I really
want them. They want me to take evening classes and get certified, which
I'm amenable to as long as Matthew doesn't have a fit. He was negative
about me taking the job -- yes, teach does suck in the pay department, but
I think we both know that I'd love it. During my first interview they
mentioned two-year-olds (this is a preschool) but today they offered me a
class (with two other teachers) of four-year-olds, which I'd much prefer.
It will be an adventure, any way you slice it.
By the way, everyone who dropped a few dollars in the tip jar, sent
words of encouragement, or said that you missed me while I was having
trouble updating... thank you so much! It really meant a lot to
me. You each made me feel not so alone, even when I was.

I love my moon light. It was the first piece of
"furniture" I bought (if it can be called that). I got it when I was a freshman in college from a store called Viking Trader.

today: Tomorrow is my last day in LA.

today: His answer was long, and I had difficulty saying it when I
tried to repeat it.
two years ago today: I have
learned to love the flavor that delights Matthew so.
one year ago today: I'm
having one of those awful icky sick days.
