9 27 am pst [ sunday ]
We will be heading off to Matthew's last race of the season. We stayed up late learning to
play [Rubber] Bridge with Lila and
Brendan. I had the best time! We previously taugh them to play what we call
Oh No! because we play with kids and don't want to use the S-word.
Now I am excited about teaching them Pinochle.
Matthew and I made a cookbook for last year's holiday
season. We want to do a second edition (preferably with all our own
recipes, and with desserts). I've also thought it would be fun to make a
music CD with our siblings. I've considered story books or some sort of
Rachel plant guide. But now I'm thinking a rules book for our family card
games would be really excellent.
I know I'll have access to a lamination machine, a
die-cut machine, and whatnot at school, so I have to think if I would want
anything that these toys might help with (though I don't know if I can use
them and thus far I don't know what I'd use them for...).
I want to do a photo project that someone did at my old
school, so I need to write a proposal soon.

today: I didn't write because it was the day before my first day of
classes for my last year of college.
three years ago
today: I did find a 1952 wedding dress with the veil, which was
absolutely fabulous, but was too small on me.
