We got a fair amount of housework done today. I did some of my homeowrk and cooked a bunch. Late in the evening Brendan and Lila came over to give Matthew a surprise birthday present. He had to search for it in the house. And boy were they worth the hunt!

Eventually we stumped Brendan for a while with a puzzle box. Then we played four hands of bridge (one of which I lost so miserably it wasn't even fun) before I insisted on going to bed.
