We made it through nine pages of our "All About Us" journal (which I aquired last night as an unexpected birthday present after the surprise dinner Matthew arranged!) and I am really into it.

A trip to an auto parts store resulted in the purchase of:

• a new air filter
• a new fuel filter
• new spark plugs
• new spark plug wires
• a new distributor
• a new distributor cap

If the car won't pass its smog after we replace all that stuff then we're going to have to pay someone to look at it. Matthew and I are going to use the car (an '85 Honda Accord with a rust problem) as a playground for learning how to do car repair stuff. We are hoping to find all of the relevant instructions on the internet.
