These days in the city at the library are interesting. I can continually find something to research. I am continually the only person there under fourty.

It is strange to me the way in which my obsession with my family tree ebbs and flows like everything else in my life, but the intensity can be so strong sometimes.

I get fixated and then send away for some document that takes six months to arrive. By then I not interested, but then I get something in the mail, or some e-mail from a distant cousin that starts it all over again. I will probably go on like this forever.
