_________________ 9 17 pm pdt [ Vivaldi ] My attempts to find oa recording of Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for 2 Guitars in G major by the Franz Liszt Chamber Orchestra on Amazon have failed misearably. I heard it on the radio and now I can't have it. What good is the internet? Matthew also revealed that he likes recordings by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, so I shall keep that in mind for the holidays. I've already bought his birthday gift.
I have a two week vacation coming up and Matthew and I have a brief weekend trip planned for LA. I already feel that my summer is over. I didn't have any of the free time I intended this summer. I didn't pend the summer writing. Instead I spent it working, and that had its own charms. Every penny I can save I do in the hopes that we might someday buy a house.
While I understand that Blockbuster is an evil corporate entity, and I wish that we had a local independant video store, Blockbuster is the closest video store, and we can walk there, and it is right near the grocery store, and so we rent there often. Today we tried their deal where we can rent as many movies as we want for a flat fee (the NetFlix model without the turnaround time for shipping but also without the amazing selection). So like the 30 days, 30 movies event, I'll be logging movies here for a while.
