I have known Alexandra since first grade. Our mom's have both moved from our hometown, hers to Cambria and mine to Ojai. Cambria worked perfectly. Alexandra and my mom came up. Matthew and I went down. The late night drive wasn't ideal, but such was the way these things go.

The day was truly lovely. We hunted for rocks and driftwood at moonstone beach, had several great meals, bought a water plant for our planned water garden, and had a merry time all around.
