Matthew is away for the second weekend in a row, racing in Atwater. He really wanted me to go with him, but I wanted to squeeze in a last Saturday of genealogy before the new school year starts. So I spent a good three and a half hours are the Family History Center, pouring over several of the six microfilms I have ordered. I know what city in Austria/Hungrary my family came from, and I know two other families they were related to. I can find a wealth of records for the two other families, but none for mine. This is a delightful frustration.
Tonight we will be having a birthday celebration for one of our game-night friends. I love to play, so this should be great. My only concern is that I've had a bit of a stomach-ache today, and my eyes are tired from spending hours hunched over the microfilm reader. I can't even think about typing up my notes now.
