Matthew is home. It is warm. My goals for this weekend are to mail out more invitations (my dad finally gave me his addresses), transfer this here domain name to a different registrar (because I am displeased with mine), and reorganize my closet. I confessed to Matthew that I have fantasies of photographing every article of clothing I own, but I don't think know is the time to embark on that journey.
041 days until our wedding
I redesigned the front of my site today. I'm not happy with how it turned out, but I was tired of seeing my own face. You can expect that there will be yet another version sometime soon.
I updated myriad links. I'll need to reshuffle even more later, but I am please with what I got done. There was a lot of digital dusting, so to speak, which was nice because it was much too hot to do anything physical.
At one point I started reading one of my film essays from 1998 and I had to stop because I was laughing at myself so hard.
Oh bother, it seems I've plunged right into this entry and forgotten about my original idea, which was to set it like a news article -- an obituary to be precise.
A moment of silence, please, for Mr. Ballard, my Motorola i1000plus from Nextel. Mr. Ballard, know as Mr. B, the Ballardnator, or B-riffic to his friends, was an excellent cell phone for three and a half years. Unfortunately, the Ballardnator tried to swim last night, and now that he's had ample time to air out, it has become clear that he has given up the ghost. I'll miss you, Mr. B.
