I wrote this two days ago, but rather than taking it on to my handwritten entry, I will post it today, since I have a terrible stomach ache and have had a terrible dizzy spell today, for the first time in a very long time (years?).

I'm simply not a magazine person. I don't like them very much, though I am always willing to thumb through others' magazines and take old ones for cutting up for art projects.

Until my wedding, I don't think I've ever had a magazine subscription (perhaps some horse thing when I was little). In registering, I requested Games Magazine, which my father has always received and which we grew up doing on airplanes (my dad would save several issues so that any flight guaranteed four issues or so) and Offical's Logic Puzzles. Both publications are wonderful and I delight in playing whenever I receive one.

The only true magazine that I enjoy enough to actual want is Real Simple.

Yesterday I got my second issue. I am often thinking of assignments I would like to give my future elementary school class and I often think about making kids aware of advetising. So I was thinking about analyzing the ads in my magazine. Here's a brief rundown of what's in my favortie mag:
