I will leave for France today (tomorrow) at 9 pm. I have a bunch of
thank yous to write, which i told myself I had to do before i went to
sleep. It might be a long night! I stayed up till 6 am
yesterday, which wasn't wise, but what can you do...?
6 22 pm edt
I leave for France in less than a half hour (well, I leave for the
airport). I am so excited for my first journey out of the country.
I am going sans machine -- no computer, no music, no watch -- just
me and a pad of paper and a couple of pens. I did pick up a few new
reads at the bookstore, which I will report on when I return.
